Dr. Caroline shango Irungu – Physician

Dr. Caroline shango Irungu is a Physician at The Karen Hospital, Nairobi with 13 years of experience in the medical field.

Dr. Daniel Nduiga Keiro – Physician

Dr. Daniel Nduiga is an Cardiologist and Electro Physiologist at The Karen Hospital, Nairobi who over the last 7 years that he has practised at The Karen Hospital has performed more than 300 diagnostic coronary angiograms, 100 single and dual chamber pacemakers and 20 CRT implantation procedures in the hospital’s Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory. This is in addition to regularly running the hospital’s busy physician and cardiac clinic.

Dr. Nduiga is a Kenyan educated at Nyeri Baptist High School and later the University of Nairobi where he graduated as a Medical officer in the year 2002 and as a Physician from the same university in 2009.
He consequently worked at a busy Cardiac clinic at the Nairobi Hospital as a cardiology fellow before moving to the Karen Hospital in 2011 in the same capacity.

He underwent a year training in Cardiac Electro physiology in Apollo Main Hospital, Chennai.

Dr. Nduiga is currently fully engaged at The Karen Hospital Cardiac program and is currently overseeing the rhythm management including non invasive assessment, Cardiac Implantable Electronic Devices including Cardiac resynchronisation and Overseeing the establishment of invasive Electrophysiology Services.
Despite his busy schedule Dr. Nduiga enjoys travelling, reading and playing basketball.

Dr David Musila Nzioki – Physician

Dr. David Musila is a Physician at The Karen Hospital, Nairobi with 12 years working experience in his field.

He is a graduate from the University of Nairobi with a degree in Medicine and surgery and later a Masters of Medicine in Internal Medicine at the same university. Dr Musila joined The Karen Hospital in January, 2018 and has been productive and efficient in his work ever since.

Prior to joining The Karen he worked in reputable institutions including Garissa PGH, Kenyatta National Hospital and St. Mary’s Mission Hospital.

Dr Alice Kanyua – Clinical Pathologist

Dr. Alice Kanyua is a Clinical pathologist with interest in Haematology at The Karen Hospital, Nairobi. She is a graduate from University of Nairobi, graduating with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree (MBChB) in 2007 and later attended postgraduate studies at Aga Khan University Hospital and graduated with masters of Medicine in Clinical Pathology in 2016.

She joined The Karen Hospital in 2016 and has 10 years working experience in her field of expertise. Prior to joining The Karen Hospital, she worked at The Ministry of Health and Aga Khan University Hospital.

Dr Lance Gerry Mayabi – General Surgeon

Dr. Lance Gerry Mayabi is a General Surgeon at The Karen Hospital, Nairobi with over 2000 operations since he started practising. Having joined The Karen Hospital in April, 2018 Dr. Mayabi is in charge of the clinical services departments that includes but not limited to being in charge of all medical and clinical officers, laboratory technicians, pharmacy technicians, radiologists, physiotherapists and other allied clinical services.

Dr. Mayabi is Kenyan, educated at Alliance High School and later graduating from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelors degree in Medicine and Surgeries. He further attended The Aga Khan University Hospital, Nairobi where he did Masters in Medicine General Surgery.

He has worked in reputable hospitals such as Avenue Healthcare Nairobi where he was a Medical Officer, The Aga Khan University Hospital as a General Resident Surgeon.

Prior to joining The Karen Hospital, he worked at St. Theresa’s Mission Hospital, Kiirua, as a Resident Surgeon and Medical Officer in Charge of Clinical Services.

Dr. Mayabi loves travelling, watching documentaries and listening to music as a break from his busy schedule.

Dr Elizabeth Warille – Paediatric and Child Health Specialist

Dr. Elizabeth Warille is Paediatric and Child Health Specialist at The Karen Hospital, Nairobi is with 7 years experience in the medical field.

She is a graduate from the University of Khartoum, Sudan with a degree in Medicine. She further joined the University of Nairobi for Masters in Medicine in Paediatrics and Child Health. She became part of The Karen Hospital in December, 2017.

Dr Cynthia Sempele – Radiologist

Dr. Cynthia Sempele is a Radiologist at The Karen Hospital, Nairobi with 9 years of experience in the medical field.

She is a Kenyan, educated at Loreto Convent Msongari and St. Mary’s School Nairobi for International Baccalaureate and later joining University of Nairobi undertaking a degree course in Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery and further Masters of Medicine in Diagnostic Radiology at the same university.

Dr Kiptalam Kipturu – Dental Surgeon

Dr. Kiptalam Kipturu is a Dental Surgeon at The Karen Hospital, Nairobi. He is a graduate from the University of Nairobi with a degree in Dental Surgery. He has 5 years experience in Dental Surgery.
