The Karen Hospital is a multi-specialty hospital founded by eminent Cardiologists, Dr. Betty Gikonyo and Dr. Dan Gikonyo. The institution has been envisioned with the aim of bringing to Kenya the highest standards of medical care along with clinical research, education and training. Karen Hospital is governed under the guiding principles of providing medical services to patients with care, compassion and commitment.
The Karen Hospital comprises of 102 beds with 3 operation theatres, catering for over 26 specialties. The hospital has established nine Satellite centers in different parts of Kenya to provide medical services to the people of this country without any hindrance due to long distance travelling. Through these nine satellite centers, the Karen hospital communicates with the society on a daily basis to extend exceptional services of healthcare to them.
